Jim is a highly experienced strategic communications advisor. He was schooled in the leading London advertising agencies of the ‘eighties and ‘nineties during the golden age of advertising, working on accounts including AIDS, the Daily Telegraph, British Telecom and Carling Black Label. He then worked in tandem with the marketing guru Tim Lefroy in a leading communications consultancy. Together they advised a series of high profile public and private sector clients, ranging from the British Council and the Defence Logistics Organisation to the Prudential and the Association of Investment Trust Companies. They are best known for their work with Sir John Chisholm in transforming the government’s defence research laboratories DERA into the FTSE listed QinetiQ.
Jim’s subsequent communications work has covered the NHS (notably at Central London Community Healthcare) and the nuclear sector, the latter for the United Nations and the World Nuclear Association. He works across all aspects of communication, from genesis to execution.
